The Lone Star Airedale Terrier Club and the Lone Star Briard Club co-sponsored an excellent seminar on breeding and selecting puppies on October 20 and 21, 2001. Forty-six serious dog fanciers attended the seminar to hear the insights of Patricia Craig Trotter, author of Born To Win. Pat Trotter is an exceptional breeder and owner-handler, who for 30 years, had the top winning Norwegian Elkhounds in the country. Her knowledge of how to use genetics and pedigrees in combination with the structure and movement and temperament of the dog to breed for excellence attracted people from across the country to this seminar.

1. Three little Irish Terriers, about eight weeks old.

2. Irish Terrier Breeder and owner-handler, John Childress evaluated his litter with Pat Hastings.

3. Everyone crowded around to hear what Pat Hastings had to say. about a litter of eight-week-old Irish Terriers.

4. Off stage, the Irish Terriers puppies spent a day socializing with all the people and dogs that attended the seminar.
