Kathy Cascade, TTouch practitioner and
practitioner trainer, has worked with TTouch ever since Linda Tellington
Jones opened it up to people who wanted to work with dogs. Kathy came to
Second Sunday, April 13, 2003, and demonstrated the TTouch to LSATC members.
About 10 people were there, many with their dogs. One attendee with a
Bedlington who was very shy was astounded to see her dog gain confidence
with the TTouch anxiety wrap. Another saw the wrap used to quiet her dog's
stress-induced exuberance. During the two hours of the demonstration, those
attending saw the dogs respond to the touch for different purposes, learned
new ways to get a dog to work on a lead, learned the principles behind the
touch, and learned how to do the basic TTouch.
